CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS III / 22 MAR 2016 CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS 3'S NUK3TOWN MAP NOW FREE

The previously pre-order exclusive Nuk3town map forCall of Duty: Black Ops 3 has now become freely available to all players on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, alongside a new personalization pack of Nuk3town-themed in-game cosmetics.

The updated version of the Black Ops' series perennially popular close-quarters multiplayer map will be added to map rotation across a number of playlists, and a Nuk3town-only playlist will be available for the next week, according to an Activision blog post.

Alongside that, players will receive Nuk3town-themed Weapon camo, calling card and weapon reticules. The update also sees the game's 1.08 patch drop. all players should see the update by the end of today.

Black Ops 3's version of the map is notable for more than just its classic status - it's also home to a creepy, Doctor Who-themed Easter Egg, which we can now enjoy/be terrified by together.

Nuk3town was never made available on the last-gen versions of the game, so it seems unlikely we'll see such an update for Xbox 360 or PS3.
