It's become painfully apparent in reaction to this video:
It's obvious that marketers are trying to pander to the gaming croud with an attempt at shallow marketing. It has become so painful that gamers immediately turn off as soon as they see an ad regarding gamers. Simply using the word gamer alone can be a turn-off word, as gamers don't really call themselves gamers. A hobby is not an identity. How dumb do they think we are exactly? I mean we do play games, that obviously means we must be stupid inherently. I have news for the gaming environment.
Gamers aren't stupid
We are not planning on wasting money on your crappy useless 'gaming gear' when there is no clear distinction from being gaming equipment over just regular cleaning items. It only adds further insult when you see the host of the video blasting some sort of humor that isn't funny to anyone. Marketers lets work on our research and keep things professional, please.
