The path to success is not an easy one. Perhaps it may be easier for others. For some, it may be even right in front of them and all that is required from them is to walk through the door with ease. It simply isn't fair. But it is reality. In order for you to have your everlasting inalienable rights, it must remain unfair. There must be an equality to opportunity; not an equality of outcome. Let's just all admit to one another. Success is not easy. Anyone who has worked, started their own business, gone through college, or done anything difficult that is worth while knows this fact. There is nothing easy about making it to the door to success. The pathway is paved with spikes.

Most will get hurt as you walk this path. Some even received a hot air balloon to traverse that path with ease. It is easy to be envious of those more fortunate. Heck, maybe even some people not only have the pathway filled with spikes, but lions as well. Your success is almost impossible, but the door is there. You look at the door in the distance, the door is there. You trip and land face first on a spike, and it hurts, but the door is there. You climb a spike because all you see is more spikes. You have lost sight of the door. Some may even find they have reached the door, but that it is locked, and they must go all the way back to get the key. Or maybe the door is electrocuted when it is there. So why bother? Why make the attempt to go for this nearly impossible door? Because it is there and you know it is feasible.

You can imagine opening the door to success. That you, as the individual, can bring yourself through enough suffering, pain, destruction and self-mutilation to force yourself through that door. You have the success in your mind. But as you get hit with another spike, a little piece of you may tell you to stop. That the door simply isn't worth it. In fact, the path to the door is littered with bodies that would think this way. You are not that. You look at all the bodies that lie in the spikes, dead and defeated by the difficult journey to success. That really, at the end of the day, no matter how many spikes there are, that door is still there. There are those that choose to stay wallowing in spikes, or push themselves through that electrocuted locked lion infested door which YOU CAN MAKE IT THROUGH. You know it to be true, otherwise, you wouldn't even be on the path of spikes to begin with.

Naysayers who have not made the way to the door would look at you with disdain. Those that made it through the door of success may cheer you on, or even jeer at you for your attempts. It doesn't matter. These are all solidifiers to a collective entity. That somehow their opinion somehow holds more validity to the path you need to take through your door. You have this though. Never forget. The door is there, and always there until you walk through it.

As a note: My door is this site. I have pushed and pushed to get people to write on this site with no success. I do not care. Some may even jeer at me for my attempts. I do not care. Some may encourage, or demean what I try to do. Some may ban me for advertising, which I am. Some may hate my ideas. But I know my door is there, and I can walk through that door. This is a brand new website that promotes in 1st Amendment rights. That people have the right to blog whatever it is they wish, within certain boundaries. No opposing political ideals will be silenced on this platform. If you like this idea, the idea that people have a right to share their thoughts freely, then please take a moment to write on this site.
